Protect Your Eyes and Keep Eye Surgery Safe!

In Vermont, with something as precious as eyesight, we can not take unnecessary risks.

Our eyes are one of the most sensitive and precious organs in our body. That is why certified ophthalmology physicians go through extensive medical education and surgery training, because when it comes to your eyesight, the consequences of bad care are potentially life altering. The Vermont Ophthalmological Society is committed to protecting Vermonters and ensuring that Vermonters receive excellent care provided by experienced and highly trained physicians.

As a member of the Vermont Ophthalmological Society we work together with our peers to improve our knowledge as physicians and care of our patients by:

Conferences: We provide quality education and networking for our Vermont Ophthalmologists to enhance their professional development.  Conferences include CME on the latest advances in eye care.  There is no additional fee for our members to attend our educational meetings.

Advocacy: Making sure patients have access to high quality safe eye care is priority number one.  We advocate for patients on numerous levels to make sure the eye care they receive in Vermont is safe, accessible and high quality.
